Chris Torregrossa, CPA

 

Chris is a Director with Price Kong and Company, CPA’s located in Phoenix Arizona. He is the Director and Founder of the Price Kong Dental Practice Group (“PKDPG”) whose mission is to “Create and develop business systems and procedures to assist dentists in reaching their financial goals by leveraging the tax compliance of a business as a foundation for improvement.”

The PKDPG provides tax and accounting services with a focus on tax planning. In addition other services are provided to our dental clients including practice purchase analysis, transition work, monitoring of financial goals and results, improving cash flow, budgeting and ongoing consulting, coaching and estate planning. The PKDPG model is based on continuing education both for our dental clients and our professional staff.

Several years ago Chris noted that newly graduated dentists needed additional assistance to navigate the dental business world and developed systems and coaching models specifically tailored to the emerging dental entrepreneur. A commitment to investing in his clients is a key component of the PKDPG.

Chris has lectured at dental associations, societies, conventions, study groups and schools. All programs operate under the Price College Program as a tribute to our founder Ron Price who focused on dentists and instilled an educational environment in the firm since 1969. Chris is also the CPA for the OBI Foundation and contributes his and the PKDPG time to the organization to assist it in achieving its goals to its members.

Chris graduated from the University of Denver School of Accountancy with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1981. Prior to joining Price Kong Chris worked at the international accounting firm Deliotte and two other regional CPA firms. In the early 90’s Chris left public accounting and became involved with a company developing computer storage technology. He took the company public and for two years in a row the company was on Business Week’s “Hot Growth Companies”. During his tenure at the company Chris was responsible for all aspects of the financial reporting and taxes, directly reporting to the CEO; he also was responsible for the operations of the company’s foreign subsidiaries and split his duties between US and foreign operations.

Chris also has taught accounting at the master’s level which included the initial development of the college’s course curriculum; managed an Apple store for a year and supervised field operations for a construction, real estate and development company.
